Sick Like Dog

Hello All (Kendall lol)
As you can probably deduce from this post title, I am fairly sick and hence unmotivated to do anything other than love my active toddler and get better. Yum for serious. No matter how sick I am I can always drum up an appetite for new nomnom's !
So go make something to eat already and come back here when I am interesting again.

Proto-Carrot

Don't judge my skill level of craftiness based on this poor carrot. I am trying to perfect a wee carrot stuffie for future creations. You can tell by the look on this little guy's face, that he knows he is not long for this world. Soon he will be sliced open and harvested for his fluffy organs.
Life is not easy for the prototypes of the world.
On the bright side, I think I can go ahead and embellish a few good copies for finishing. Just need to get a hold of some green felt in a town that only has a Wal-Mart :P

Part Of The Process..

One would think that with a blog supposedly about crafting, at the very least about stitches, I would have been making my first few posts regarding projects.
Wrong.
First, the excuses:
1. Sick 2. Post Christmas Laziness 3. Video Games
And really the first two are an excuse to indulge in the third. But hey, honesty counts for something does it not? Albeit digital and practically anonymous honesty.

I'd like to think of this as all part of the process. I like to be inspired by my entertainment, weather that is a book, or video game or Stumble. They fuel the crazy craft ideas that percolate inside my brain.
Currently I am mentally chewing on reproducing the baby veg felties I made my son for my cousin's upcoming bundle of joy and mess. Also funky ear warmers, and leggings from reused materials. I recently moved to Northern British Columbia Canada and people, it's stupid cold up here.

This time, with feeling.

OK, so this *may* happen to be like the third blog I have created in like 2 years and although I say this every time, I swear this one will be different. I will actually use this one to share the wealth of awesome I have at my disposal, this time I will be an exemplary blogger like I wish deep down to be.
Really it doesn't matter much since my poor sister was the only one reading them, aha! Won't she be thrilled that I added another to the list of forgotten blogs.
I was never good with manual journals and I regularly kill houseplants, but this time...ah this time with feeling;)
